Guests: working with people outside your company

Invite a client or partner into only the channels you choose.

A guest is someone from outside your company, such as a client or contractor, who you invite into specific channels. Guests are available on the Pro plan and above, and they are free.

1. Open Admin, then Members.
2. Invite the person and choose the Guest role.
3. Tick the channels they may use.

A guest can read and post only in the channels they were added to, and can react and edit or delete their own messages. They cannot see public channels, the member list, direct messages, canvases or lists outside their channels, or the AI tools, and they cannot create channels. You can change a guest’s channels at any time from the same screen.
