Deleted messages and how long messages are kept

Deleting archives a message; only an Owner or Admin can remove it for good.
When someone deletes a message
It disappears for everyone straight away but is kept in an archive. Owners and Admins can see deleted channel messages under Admin, then Deleted messages, with who wrote and deleted them, and can delete them permanently. Deleted direct messages stay private: administrators can see only how many there are and remove them without reading them.
Keeping messages for a set time
Under Admin, then Keeping messages, choose how many days messages stay in conversations (30 or more), or keep everything. Older messages move to the Deleted messages archive automatically; they are not destroyed.
