Share files and record clips

Attach files, preview images, and record a short audio or video message.

• Files: use the attach button in the message box. Images preview in the conversation; other files show as a download.
• Who can open a file: only people who can read the channel or conversation it was shared in. A file link is checked each time it is opened.
• Clips: on plans that include them, record a short audio or video message from the message box and send it like any message. The length limit depends on your plan.

If the file upload button is missing, file storage may not be switched on for your workspace yet. Ask your administrator.
