Search

← Help centre · Working in channels

Find a message, canvas or channel.

Choose Search in the sidebar and type at least two characters. Results are ranked and highlight the words you searched for.

• Search only ever finds things you could already open. Messages in private channels you are not in, and other people’s direct messages, never appear.
• On the Free plan, search covers the most recent 90 days of messages, the same window shown in the channels.
