I cannot see a channel or a message

The usual reasons, and what to do.

• Private channels are visible only to their members. Ask someone in the channel, or an administrator, to add you.
• A message shows as “Message deleted” if someone removed it.
• On the Free plan, messages older than 90 days are hidden. They come back if your workspace upgrades.
• Guests see only the channels they were added to.

Pages that do not exist and pages you are not allowed to see look the same on purpose, so that the existence of a private channel is not revealed.
